How to Wear a Bandana
Bandanas are one of THE BEST accessories out there, hands down. They’re affordable, stylish, transitional, come in a wide range of patterns and colors…and did I mention affordable?? All of mine are less than $13! For that price, it’s hard to stay away. They’re also super versatile! And as you can probably guess, I’m a big fan of styling one piece multiple ways. I have another post about wardrobe versatility, 3 Ways To Wear A Babydoll Tee, here. In this post, I’m showing you a few ways on how to wear a bandana. Hopefully I’ll have ya convinced to get yourself one by the end!
The first and easiest way I like to style them is by wrapping them around my neck. I either tie it up like this, or wrap it around once and let the ends hang down. I think they look especially pretty with high collared shirts! All of my scarfs are from Madewell. Just fold the bandana in half by the corners and keep folding it over itself until you reach your desired width, then wrap it around your neck!

Another way I like to style them is wearing them in my hair. They make great headbands and hair ties! What’s especially nice about wearing them in your hair is that you can loosen/tighten them as much as you want. I don’t wear any other headbands on my head because I always get headaches. I also don’t like that regular headbands flatten your hair. The beauty of these is they don’t leave any dents & don’t make your head hurt! Just bobby pin the back underneath to help it stay in place. It’s such an easy and fun look!
Other ways I’ve worn these bandanas include tying them around my purse handles, wrapping them around a top knot in my hair, and wearing them around my neck while hiking. I seriously get so much use out of these things, it’s crazy! You can spot them all over my Instagram and throughout my other blog posts. Have I convinced you yet? If not, you need to get on board and get treat yo-self to one of these!
I hope everyone has a great week & that everyone gave their pops a little extra love! We had a pretty chill fathers day. It involved Mexican food, napping, and exercising. Oh, and lots of cookies. So all in all, a pretty good day! Thank you for reading 🙂
