3 Ways To Wear: Babydoll Tee

Lately I’ve been trying to pair some pieces more creatively. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t (ever tried, ever failed..no matter, try again, fail again, fail better…try to name that author!). Since budgeting is always a priority in my life, I like to purchase pieces that I can get a lot of use out of and that will last a while (& that spark joy and make me want to spend fifteen minutes delicately fold them). I recently purchased this babydoll tee from Urban Outfitters and have been seriously obsessed with it! I promised myself I would try and avoid classic blogger lingo, but there’s simply no other way to put it. I absolutely love this top! It’s extremely comfortable, very flattering, AND is budget friendly. Thus, I bring you: 3 ways to wear a babydoll tee!

Look #1 is very boho chic/I wish I could move to Austin, TX. If it weren’t snowing outside, I would totally wear this for a fun girls night out, a date night, or anytime I want to feel a little more trendy. This shirt pairs really well with a big statement necklace or a hat (or both in my case!).

This shirt is also a great work staple – it looks great with a blazer or a nice cardigan! I’ve worn this exact outfit to work before. To transition this for a night out, I’d take off the necklace, switch out flats with booties, and grab a clutch. Super easy and fun!

Last but not least, probably the look I’ve worn it most with, is a cozy cardigan. I love it with this one specifically because I like the look of two flowy pieces together. If you’re allowed to dress more casual for work, then this would also be a good office outfit. I’ve definitely worn this to work too!

Side note: In all of these pictures I’m wearing Madewell’s Demi-Boot jeans and I love them! I’ve never worn flared jeans except in middle school (…and early to late high school) but I’m really glad they’re coming back in style. They’re so flattering and it’s nice not feeling so constricted around your ankles. These jeans will probably get their own post soon!

Even though winter is in full swing over here in Maryland with the 5+ inches of snow we’re currently getting, I am so ready for spring! ..and this top would be just darling with some jean shorts and wedges!
