Winter White

Ah, the good old white-jeans-during-winter debate…some love ’em, some hate ’em, and some have never tried ’em before. I actually never owned a pair of white jeans until two years ago because I am notorious for spilling food all over white pieces…no seriously, I’m banned from borrowing anything white from my sister’s closet. And it’s so legitimate that I actually abide by her rules even if she isn’t around. I didn’t (and still truly don’t) trust myself with crisp white clothing, but I decided to take the plunge and give it a shot! After following several bloggers who have posted white jeans countless times in different ways, I invested in a good pair of white jeans (Madewell, you take all my money) and have been enjoying styling them year round!

To soften the shock of white pants in the winter, I like to pair them with soft colors like beige, grey, or light pink (don’t mind the wrinkles in my camisole, this was fresh out of the bag!).  Pair them with some soft pastels or florals in the warm weather, and voila! You got yourself a nice pair of versatile pants. Also, this chenille cardigan is amaaaazingly soft and would be great to wear in the spring too! I picked it up impulsively at the beach last summer. Although it isn’t the most flattering fit, it’s too soft and comfy to pass up on a cold day like today.

I hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing break between the crazy holidays…I wish I could be, but life hasn’t been too relaxing at all lately! In addition to the super busy holiday season within retail, I started an internship at this company I really like and am looking forward to becoming full-time in a few months! …which means, unfortunately, writing blog posts will take a bit of a back seat. But I so appreciate y’alls support and am going to keep growing aarielrenee!
