Natural Skincare With Maddies Market
Hi all! I took a little hiatus from blogging, but today I’m back to tell you about a great natural skincare line I have been really loving – Maddie’s Market!
I went to high school with the founder, Maddie, and was really excited to see her launch her own skincare label. I was intrigued by the products (and the fact that a young, female entrepreneur decided to just go for it), so I decided to order a couple of things. She was super nice and included some samples of other products. After that, I was hooked! I quickly fell in love with the coffee body scrub and the melaleuca face scrub. They still remain my top two favorite products! I also really love the brown sugar lip scrub and the coffee face scrub.
I love the body scrub because it’s a gentle exfoliator and it leaves my skin really soft. I’ve tried other body exfoliators and they were either not effective enough or too coarse on my skin and were a bit painful. Coffee is a great natural exfoliator, and the rest of the ingredients have their own health and skin benefits too. I use this about 2-3x a week in the shower, but mostly 2x unless I feel extra gross and need another round of exfoliating. The only downside is it is can be messy in the shower and leave little flecks of coffee grinds everywhere. However, I just let my shower run for a few extra mins and splash water on the sides to clean it up. It’s honestly worth the mess! As far as the melaleuca face scrub, that is some magical concoction that works wonders on my skin. When I do get acne or little bumps on my forehead, this scrub shrinks them and they go away on their own! It leaves my skin really soft too.

Her products are all natural, gluten-free, and most are vegan or can be made vegan (the non-vegan products contain beeswax and raw honey). I’m not vegan personally, but I do know that vegan skincare is becoming more important to people. Maddie is someone who is really truly passionate about what she does and is VERY knowledgable about skincare ingredients and what is harmful / beneficial for you! I’m really happy with her products, and I feel great supporting a small, female-owned business. One last thing – her products are AFFORDABLE! Like really affordable. This is a great line of natural products to try out if you’re dipping your toe in (or already really familiar with) natural skincare. Visit her website, www.MaddiesMarket.net to check it out for yourself!
Lastly, if you’re local to Maryland, Maddie is having a pop up at her house this coming Sunday, December 15th from 12 – 4pm. You can find the address on her Instagram, here. There’s going to be snacks and sales! I will for sure making an appearance 🙂
