Summer Finds with AmazonSmile
Now that we’re in the peak of summer, I thought it would be fun to share the latest things I’ve bought through Amazon and loved. I also FINALLY figured out how to make a cute product collage. It may have taken me several hours, give or take, but that’s one of the many “perks” of DIYing your blog… you learn through LOTS of trial and error, ha! If you don’t know what AmazonSmile is, it’s a program through Amazon where you can choose a charity of your choice to have 0.5% of your purchase funds donated to. I’m supporting the National Stuttering Association, and hopefully you do too! one – Ban.do Beach Towel – A big, instagram worthy beach towel is something I never thought I needed until I went to Florida for the National Stuttering Association Conference. It’s pretty soft and it’s large enough to lay on without having your feet in the sand. (Ok, truth be told I didn’t technically need this, but it made me feel much more girly and it was a nice upgrade from the super old beach towels I had been using!)
two – Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens – I borrowed this book from my friend and loved it. Apparently it’s a very popular read this summer. I even saw a girl on my flight to Florida carrying it!
three – Sunflower Phone Case – I posted about this on my instagram stories a while ago, but I have never been more in love with a phone case than this one. It’s cute affordable, and most importantly, actually protects your phone. I was genuinely very shocked at how much I liked this case when I put it on!
four – Boost Gym Bag – I never, ever used a gym bag until a few months ago. I always just carried my phone, wallet, headphones, and water in my arms whenever I went to the gym. But now that I actually have a gym bag, I realize how useful it is. I can keep hand sanitizer, a lock for my locker, a towel, and an elastic band for stretches all in this bag – which have come in handy! It also has a compartment in the bottom for your shoes. The price? $26. Yes please!
five – Mario Badescu Facial Spray – This stuff is so refreshing on a hot day! I have a mini size and carry it with me in my purse. It was a life savor when walking around Charlottesville during the peak heat time, and it was even more of a life saver in Florida when our hotel lost power and AC. It smells amazing too!
six – 32oz Embrava Water Bottle – My brother-in-law and my mom both have this water bottle and I’m about to purchase it for myself. It holds 32oz of water and is slender enough to hold with one hand, and can easily fit in any car cup holder. I also like the lid; just press a button and the top pops up! I didn’t know I was so picky about my water bottles but apparently I am, hah!
