Statement Scarves

Hiya! I apologize for being a little quiet the last two weeks, life just got in the way! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend and got some lazy relaxation days in. I spent my break working, spending time with family and old friends, and battling a cold that I’m still getting over. Despite the sniffles, I’m super excited for the holiday season to be in full swing! Now that it’s officially December, we have our “whimsical” Christmas tree up (my mom’s favorite word to describe our tree) and some other decor that makes our house look like a Hallmark Christmas movie (which is on my TV as I write this).  I love the cozy feel of our house at Christmas time! Pretty soon I’ll be pulling out my Christmas platters and serving up some delicious holiday treats that will require extra Kayla Itsines workouts to burn off.  I’ve also got some good content that will be rollin out every week this month! For the first December post, I thought I’d share one of my favorite wardrobe staples for the cold weather; a statement scarf!

 

I have a few of these babies I’ve collected over the years and I love them to death! I love bundling up in them under a coat or draping them over my shoulders to jazz up a sweater. Two of my favorites in my collection are this tan one I got from the Nordstrom anniversary sale last summer (been waiting a loooong time to wear it!) & a beautiful, reversible plaid one I received as a gift a few years back. I love the winter neutral look, but also can’t resist a gorgeous red and green plaid! They kept me pretty darn warm on this beautiful/chilly night in Annapolis.

Keeping this post short and sweet because, well, how much can you really say about a scarf? They look cute and they’re warm, which is all a girl can ask for in the winter. As always,  thank you for reading! xoxo
