7 Recent Purchases I’ve Been Loving
Hi there! This week’s blog post is all about some great products that I’ve been using and loving (quite a lot!). I haven’t done one of these in a while, so I thought it’d be fun to share some new discoveries. I’m currently sitting at my desk, desperately wishing it was spring time and I was heading out on a tropical vacation. I’m going to Charleston soon, but that’s not quiiiite the same as hanging out in Tulum with a giant, refreshing coconut drink. I’ll just pretend my massively large corkcicle is a coconut filled with a sweet drink, and that my long sleeve top is a beach cover up. Anywho, keep reading below for the 7 recent purchases that I’ve been loving!

1 – Spanx faux leather leggings – purchased these after I saw my friend wear them…they’re SO cute, flattering, comfortable, and look overall really awesome. If you want a pair, comment below and I can refer you for 15% off your order!
2 – White noise machine – started to get addicted to white noise machines. They’re so soothing and I love how discreet the black color is. I have legitimately slept with this on every single night. *if you order this from amazon, go through AmazonSmile so the proceeds get donated to the charity of your choice! 3 – Madewell mock neck sweater – loved it so much I bought it twice (both times on sale!). It’s soft, flattering, and a good basic piece. I have it in white and black!
4 – Fruit infuser – started experimenting more with fruit infused water and it’s a fun way to hydrate. Sometimes plain water is super boring, so I’ll break this out when I want something flavorful but healthy. It’s easy to prep and I feel extra fancy when I drink cucumber water haha!
5 – Thymes hand cream – I’ve had this for a while now but it’s really been a life saver this winter. I have both the lotion and cream and I like the cream a lot because it’s so thick, yet it doesn’t leave a greasy residue. 6 – Merle Norman lip pencil plus in mocha – also something I’ve had for a while but I’ve been wearing this color a lot lately and it just goes with everything. It’s a great nude lip shade. *Also available at Merle Norman Cosmetics and Gifts in Olney!
7 – Orange Theory Fitness – I switched up my exercise routine and joined Orange Theory! It’s amazing. I typically do 2x classes a week, one on Tues or Thurs and the other on Sunday. I love getting in a good sweat session that’s a combo of cardio and strength training!
And that’s it! There’s lots of new stuff I like, but these are the purchases I’ve been loving the most this winter. Side note, does anyone else struggle with the winter blues? This is the first year I feel so “blah” during the winter! I purchased a happy light from amazon to test out, so TBD on if that works or not. Thanks for reading!
